BAVO is your local County Voluntary Council and provides free support, advice and guidance on all sorts of issues to local charities, community and voluntary groups in the borough. BAVO also provides a Volunteer Bureau offering up-to-date information and matching people who are looking for volunteering opportunities with organisations looking for volunteers.

We also provide opportunities for the voluntary sector to be represented in all sorts of decision making processes locally, so if you need to know what’s happening and how it might affect you, or indeed you want to have your say and be actively involved – you may be interested in becoming a member.
