Bridgend Autism Support Group (BASG)


WHAT IS BASG?
We are a group of parents and carers of people with Autism or Asperger Syndrome. We hold regular meetings and we welcome everyone. We provide support and information. We attend local committee meetings to highlight issues relevant to living with Autism. There is no joining fee.
 
WHAT DO WE DO?
We aim to bring together anybody in touch with Autism or Asperger Syndrome and inform and support each other. We generally try to raise awareness of autism and Asperger Syndrome.
 
WHERE DO WE MEET?
At Y Bont, Ewenny Road, Bridgend (01656 646013) between 1-3 pm usually on the first Wednesday of the month (apart from school holidays). BASG also meet up on an ad-hoc basis for social get-togethers.

Autism is a developmental condition that affects people in different ways.
Asperger Syndrome is a condition generally regarded as a form of Autism.
Much more is known about Autism now and various approaches have been developed to help and support those with Autism and their families.
