Celebrating 30 years of service and dedication at DASH

DASH (formerly 'Ogwr DASH) are currently celebrating their 30th anniversary and are today holding an open day at their Bridgend office.

I was invited by Brian Rogers the Chair of Trustees of DASH to formally unveil a plaque to recognise the contribution and 30 years of service of its founder Mrs Sylvia Jones.

I also presented Sylvia with her own plaque and flowers to show the appreciation by all of the Trustees, Staff and volunteers of all her hard work and dedication over the years. Her husband Bob was also presented with gift to mark the support he has given to the scheme.

This organisation, not only runs the Drink Drive Rehabilitation courses in South Wales, but provides valuable support and counselling for substance abusers and their families in Bridgend and the surrounding areas.
