Councillor Carolyn Lewis said:
“The Post Office Card Account is
a free service to people who are in receipt of benefits and who
have opted to use this service. I am here today to offer my
support to keep this service at the Post Office.”
Madeleine
stated:
“I know this account is important
to people and I have written to the Prime Minister informing him of
the high level of concern in my constituency of people who want
this account to remain post offices. To date I have received over
1500 postcards and have advised the Department of Business,
Enterprise and Regulatory Reform of the huge numbers I have
received."
