Madeleine Donates Books To Parc

PARC PRISON VISIT

Having attended ‘The Big Wild Read’, a campaign to get children reading and visiting their local library, I was able to donate books from the event to the Parc Prison Library.

Madeleine stated: "As I said after the event, it is important that prison does not prevent a parent from being active in the upbringing of their children. I hope that these books will be used and read by children visiting the prison. They give an opportunity for prisoners who are fathers to read with their children and encourage them to visit the library and borrow some books."
