HOME OFFICE MINISTER VISITS BRIDGEND

Local MP Madeleine Moon welcomed Police Minister, Vernon Coaker MP, to Bridgend.

Superintendent Tim Jones gave Madeleine and the Minister a presentation about the success of the Bridgend police in reducing crime locally. Bridgend's Neighbourhood Policing Teams working in partnership with local organisations and communities. These partnerships have led the way in utilising innovative powers and projects to reduce crime to an all time low throughout the Borough.

Madeleine said: "To have the policing Minister come here and praise the work of our local Police Teams is a real positive. It highlights the fact that our police here in Bridgend are having a real impact in reducing crime and anti-social behaviour".
