Madeleine Visits Open Cast

PARC SLIP OPEN CAST

Local MP Madeleine Moon has paid a visit to the Parc Slip Open Cast. Madeleine held a lengthy meeting with the Site Manager Adrian Helmore, Environmental Consultant Dr Mike Gandy, and John Philip Jenkins.

Madeleine said: "The meeting gave me an opportunity to raise issues and concerns over the proposed new planning application to extend Parc Slip.

Celtic Energy gave Madeleine a tour of the site.

Madeleine said: "I expressed my   concerns over their new proposal, specifically relating to the
proximity to local properties, environmental degradation and restoration, all of which have formed part of my letters of opposition to the development to Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend County Borough Councils."
