MP response to Boundary Commission proposals

The proposals put forward by the Boundary Commission for the redrawing of the Welsh Parliamentary constituencies is the first step in a year long consultation process and it is important to remember that these boundaries may change as a result of the consultation. Some of the wards proposed to move into the Bridgend constituency will in effect be returning as they were moved out of the constituency when the boundary changed prior to the General Election in 2010. I look forward to seeing the outcome of the process and talking to the people living in the areas that may become part of the Bridgend constituency. Above all, my job of representing the people of Bridgend continues as usual.

The proposals and maps can be viewed on the Boundary Commission Wales' website http://www.bcomm-wales.gov.uk/2013_review_e.htm
