Speaking to BBC Radio Wales about efforts to recruit reserves into the military

This morning I spoke to Oliver Hides from BBC Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales about the emerging evidence showing the trouble the UK government is having recruiting reserves into the armed forces, but into the army in particular. I point out how the government's focus on cost cutting: losing regular forces before an effective system has in place to replace them with reserves is flawed. More also needs to be done to make the transition into the Reserves smoother, with some people waiting many months for medical assessments and stuck in the application system.
