This Week In Parliament 11 - 15 December

This week I was away from the House, I attended the Atlantic Council which has the Heads of NATO alliance and partner nations meet once a year to discus partnership issues .

It is, therefore, extremely important that Britain is well represented at these meetings to give the UK a strong and forceful voice in shaping the direction of NATO and, especially in these times, to show the world that Britain still has something to say on the International stage.

My absence did not make Parliament any less busy, and the important developments with European Union (Withdrawal) Bill mean that Parliament is now central to the Brexit process and will have a vote on the final deal.
