An interesting week in Parliament saw business swing back to more domestic concerns. De-spite the ongoing background noise which Brexit has generated since the Referendum. The House took the time this week to scrutinise Government spending across several departments.
During these Debates, Members took another opportunity to raise the concerns about de-fence spending. And the handling of the Military by the Government.
With Conservative Members once again at war with each other over the Government’s Brexit position, the risk exists that other issues will be forgotten. It is therefore equally important that Members continue to raise these concerns and draw attention to the Governments shortcomings.
