Although on first appearance once again the Brexit saga seems to have dragged on this week without any meaningful changes, the ground may have finally shifted somewhat. The Prime Minister has finally relented and conceded that an extension to the Article 50 process will be needed if we are to avoid catastrophe and the Labour party has finally moved on to the final phase of its Conference policy and is now pushing for a public vote. The next few weeks will be some of the most crucial in determining the outcome of the Brexit process.
Elsewhere, the world beyond Brexit still demands attention and the role of NATO PA President means I have the chance to engage wholeheartedly. I have included detail of what this
role entails below and I would urge everyone to find out as much as they can about the crucial alliance system we are a part of.
